State Farm(R) and LeBron James Announce Marketing Relationship
BLOOMINGTON, Ill., Feb. 13 PRNewswire — State Farm and LeBron James NBA All-Star of the Cleveland Cavaliers have entered into an agreement that will bring two winning brands together. The relationship will focus on efforts targeting the young adult market, and on initiatives that help provide children and young adults with safer, stronger, and better-educated communities.

The relationship will be publicly announced at a playground ribbon-cutting in New Orleans on Thursday, February 14, 2008, prior to NBA All-Star Game 2008. The playground is at the St. Bernard Recreation Center in New Orleans, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina and rebuilt in September 2006. State Farm sponsored the project, which is the first installation of the LeBron James Family Foundation's national playground initiative. The program is the latest effort by the Foundation to bring families together and impact their lives in a positive way. State Farm supports thousands of community enhancement efforts all across the country.
LeBron has been a State Farm customer since 2004.
