Cannery Casino Resorts Selects Lodging Management System (LMS) by Agilysys for Three Properties

BOCA RATON, Fla., Feb. 12 PRNewswire-FirstCall — Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, announced today that Cannery Casino Resorts in Las Vegas has selected the Lodging Management System(R) (LMS) property management system by Agilysys to streamline operations at three properties - Cannery Casino & Hotel and East Side Cannery, both in Las Vegas, and The Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Pittsburgh.

LMS is a comprehensive property management solution that automates every aspect of a hotel's operations - from reservations and credit card processing to accounting and housekeeping. The Web-enabled system is based on a services- oriented architectural framework that offers maximum flexibility and minimal upkeep. Its versatile foundation expands to incorporate additional modules for activities scheduling, attraction ticketing, food and beverage, itinerary planning, online reservations, remote check-in and more.

Cannery Casino Resorts also will use LMS CASH(R), a credit authorization and settlements handling module, to provide instant online credit card approval combined with express check-in, and LMS ResNet(TM), a Web-based real- time reservation system, to enable online shoppers to book room reservations directly into the LMS property management system. The DataMagine Report Archive module will enable the properties to streamline recordkeeping by automatically capturing, indexing and filing business form documents and reports, such as invoices, credit memos, purchase orders and checks.

Cannery Casino Resorts operates Cannery Hotel and Casino in North Las Vegas, Nevada Palace Casino in East Las Vegas and Rampart Casino in Summerlin, NV. The company is developing East Side Cannery in Las Vegas, which will replace Nevada Palace Casino and is scheduled for completion in Sept. 2008, and The Meadows Racetrack & Casino in Pittsburgh, which is expected to open in April 2009. With the completion of these two construction projects, Cannery Casino Resorts will operate approximately 8,400 slots and 75 tables and more than 720 hotel rooms throughout its properties.
