Brandywine Senior Living Completes Acquisition of Four Assisted Living Communities in New Jersey

MT. LAUREL, N.J., Feb. 11 PRNewswire — Brandywine Senior Living, a premier owner and operator of senior living communities, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of a four-property portfolio from Meridian Health System. Located in Monmouth and Ocean Counties in New Jersey, the portfolio has more than 380 suites. As with all of Brandywine's communities, they will feature "restaurant-style" dining, spacious apartments, rich and vibrant activities, signature programming, housekeeping and laundry service, 24-hour security and safety features and on-site licensed nurses 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The newly acquired communities include: — The Sycamore Assisted Living, now called \"Brandywine Assisted Living at The Sycamore,\" located at 5 Meridian Way in Shrewsbury; — Colts Neck Village Assisted Living, now called \"Reflections at Colts Neck,\" located at 3 Meridian Circle, Colts Neck; — Pinewoods Assisted Living, now called \"Brandywine Assisted Living at Howell,\" located at 100 Meridian Place, Howell; — Rosewood Assisted Living, now called \"Brandywine Assisted Living at Toms River,\" located at 1587 Old Freehold Road in Toms River.

In the last two years, Brandywine has more than doubled its community count and resident capacity through acquisition and development. The company currently owns and operates 18 communities in five states (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York and Connecticut) and has one community under construction in Fenwick Island, Delaware.
