The MATLET Group Gains National Recognition

PAWTUCKET, R.I., Feb. 4 PRNewswire — In recognition of the economic power of multicultural businesses, DiversityBusiness.com, the nation's leading multicultural internet site, recently named The MATLET Group as one of the "Top Diversity Owned businesses in the United States" in the Div500. The MATLET Group was ranked number one among the top 100 diversity-owned businesses in the state of Rhode Island; 9th among the nation's top 100 Asian Pacific American businesses and 40th among the top 500 Diversity-owned companies across the country. The awards are based on gross annual sales revenue.

In its eighth year, the Div500 is an annual listing of the nation's top 500 diversity-owned businesses. In addition to the Div500, another list, the Div100, ranks the top 100 companies by state and ethnic group. The companies listed on the Div500 represent the Nation's top multicultural earners and challenge the long-held notion that a diversity-owned business is small or insignificant. Div500 members are sought after by major corporations wishing to increase spending with diversity owned companies.
