CMAI Headlines Impressive List of High Profile Speakers at Upcoming 2008 World Petrochemical Conference

HOUSTON, Jan. 31 PRNewswire — On March 25-27, 2008 Chemical Market Associates, Inc. (CMAI) will host its 23rd Annual World Petrochemical Conference and Workshops in Houston, Texas, including presentations by eleven industry experts from around the world & leading consultants from all seven global CMAI offices.

On the first day, morning Keynote speaker Volker Trautz, Chief Executive Officer, LyondellBasell Industries, will provide valuable insight regarding the future challenges and opportunities to be leveraged by a large and privately-held world-scale company. Bill Sanderson, President of CMAI's strategic alliance partner, Purvin & Gertz, will speak on the global energy future and the impact on petrochemicals. The afternoon Keynote speech will be delivered by J. Shafer, Renewable Chemicals Corporation, U.S.A., discussing the emerging role of renewable based petrochemicals and Jose Lima de Andrade Neto, President of Petrobras Quimica SA, Petroquisa, who will give insight from an olefins producer's viewpoint. David McCoy of TZMI, U.S.A., will address the Chlor- Alkali session about "The Changing Landscape of the Global TiO2 Industry" and the Polyolefins session will have a plastics processors perspective from The Clorox Company.
