Punxsutawney Phil visits Vernon Downs?
VERNON, N.Y., Jan. 30 PRNewswire — This Saturday, February 2nd, Punxsutawney Phil, the shadow or no shadow seeing groundhog, will be at Vernon Downs, at least in spirit. At approximately 7:25 a.m., Saturday, Phil will make his much anticipated prognostication in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
Guests at Vernon Downs this week are invited to guess whether the famous groundhog will see his shadow or whether he won't see his shadow by visiting the Players Club and casting a vote. Voting ends at 2:00 a.m. on Friday. After Phil takes a gander outside his den and makes his Saturday morning decision, all guests who voted correctly and have a Winners Circle Players Card in-play Saturday will receive double points.
