Microtek(R) Introduces High Speed, Multi-page ArtixScanDI(R) 4020 Duplex Document Scanner

The ArtixScanDI 4020 offers 600-dpi optical resolution with 48-bit color depth to capture all the rich detail of the original documents. With throughputs up to 40 pages per minute, or 66 impressions per minute in duplex mode, the ArtixScanDI 4020 delivers exceptional image quality from high-speed document scans. For reliable batch scanning of stacked paper, its high-capacity 100-page Automatic Document Feeder achieves fast, unattended volume scanning of color, black and white and grayscale documents. For even greater versatility, the ArtixScanDI 4020, with an over-sized flatbed design, scans stapled, bound or irregularly shaped documents, as well as photos, business and ID cards. Three Smart Touch programmable buttons are provided for one-touch scan, copy and email.
Priced for volume and performance, the ArtixScanDI 4020 provides production-class features including auto-thresholding to enhance low-contrast text and handwriting for clear document readability. Also, the scanner's manual thresholding capability enables additional fine-tuning of older, faded documents. For forms processing, the ArtixScanDI 4020 allows customizable color dropout, and its autocrop and de-skew functions sense document edges and conveniently correct paper alignment without user intervention.

The ScanWizard(R) DI scanner control panel provides easy, yet sophisticated image adjustment controls. Its full software suite includes Adobe Acrobat Standard 8.0 for creating searchable PDF documents and document security, ScanSoft (R) PaperPort Deluxe(R) and ABBYY(R) FineReader (R) Sprint OCR, which is integrated into Microtek's ScanWizard DI software.
