Giant Food Alerts Customers to Voluntary Recall of Perdue All Natural Perfect Portions

QUINCY, Mass., Jan. 26 PRNewswire — Giant Food, following a voluntary recall by Perdue Farms, announced it is recalling Perdue's "All Natural Perfect Portions" chicken because of potential allergens. Product treated with seasonings was accidentally packaged as all natural, and the packaging does not list the seasonings as ingredients. The affected products have UPC codes of 7274506830 or 7274506819, and have sell-by dates ranging from 2/2/08 through 2/6/08.

Upon hearing of the announcement by Perdue Farms, Giant Food immediately removed the item for sale from its shelves.
