"To give a sense of the scale of Imaggia output, we've used some illustrations that border on the astronomical," Schilling said. "Ten billion feet of production translates into approximately 120 billion checks, or 11.4 million miles of checks placed end to end. The space shuttle traveling at 17,000 miles an hour would need 28 days to travel that far — a distance equal to 24 roundtrips to the moon. Stacked one on top of the other, 120 billion checks would reach a height of 40 million feet, or 7,576 miles — equal to 32,000 Empire State Buildings."
The Imaggia is the world's fastest digital MICR-capable cut-sheet printer system with models featuring document throughput of 300 8.5x11-inch pages per minute.
