MaggieMoo's Spokescow 'Miss Maggie Moo' Celebrates Her Birthday During National Ice Cream Month

COLUMBIA, Md., June 27 PRNewswire-FirstCall — MaggieMoo's International, a super-premium ice cream brand known for introducing innovative frozen treats, today announced that Maggie, its seven-foot-tall, long-eye-lashed, spokescow — complete with her signature pink dress and blue pearls — will celebrate her birthday with a charitable extravaganza during July's National Ice Cream month.

Throughout the month of July, MaggieMoo's will partner with Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, an organization committed to helping seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities, to host a series of charitable events in celebration of Maggie's birthday. Participating Treateries will invite customers to donate gifts for Maggie's birthday, which will then be delivered to the children served by local chapters and office of the Starlight Starbright organization.

For Starlight children not currently in the hospital, select MaggieMoo's Treateries will host "Great Escapes," special events where seriously ill children and their entire families will be invited to enjoy VIP treatment, free ice cream and the chance to reconnect as a family outside the medical setting.

Children and their parents will be invited to join Maggie in the celebration, which will include a birthday cake, traditional birthday games and ice cream cupcakes.
