Atlanta Based AssuranceAmerica Corporation Announces Organizational Changes

ATLANTA-(Business Wire)-October 3, 2008 - ASSURANCEAMERICA CORPORATION (OTCBB: ASAM), announced that it has made several organizational changes effective October 3, 2008. Joseph J. Skruck, 44, has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of the Corporation. Mr. Skruck has been responsible for the Company’s insurance company and related operations since 2002 and will take on additional responsibilities for the Company as a whole. Mr. Millner commented “Joe Skruck has demonstrated his ability to assemble a team and deliver results exceeding our industry peers in our insurance company operations. His involvement in the operations of the Company as a whole is welcomed and we look forward to his contribution in all aspects of our Company.â€

In addition, Mr. Lawrence (Bud) Stumbaugh is moving to Vice Chairman of the Board with primary responsibility for government relations and agency acquisitions, a critical part of our growth strategy. Mr. Guy Millner, Chairman of the Board will assume the additional title of Chief Executive Officer.
