Wisconsin Managed Care Review Report for 2007

DUBLIN, Ireland-(Business Wire)-October 3, 2008 - Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/3ec3f5/wisconsin_managed) has announced the addition of the "Wisconsin Managed Care Review 2007" report to their offering.

In 2006, Milwaukee-area hospitals saw their profits decline while hospitals in the Madison area enjoyed increased profitability. Wisconsin HMOs saw their profits drop by half, but, after years of decline, HMO enrollment declined only slightly.

These findings and others are included in Wisconsin Managed Care Review 2007, Allan Baumgarten's fifth annual report analyzing trends and issues in Wisconsin health markets. The report was released here this week. Baumgarten is an independent analyst and consultant on health policy and finance based in Minneapolis. He publishes annual market reports in Wisconsin and nine other states: California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky (new this year), Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Texas.
