RatePoint Co-Founder to Speak About Online Reputation at Online Marketing World
NEEDHAM, Mass.-(Business Wire)-October 2, 2008 - RatePoint, the leading provider of customer feedback and online reputation management services, announces that Christopher Bailey, RatePoint co-founder and executive vice president of business development, will be featured on a panel discussion Friday, Oct. 3 at the Online Market World conference.
During the panel “How product reviews affect branding, sales and returns,†Bailey will discuss how ratings and reviews affect businesses’ reputations and are arguably becoming the single biggest variable to the success or failure of a business.
When many products and services become commodities through online availability, customer service becomes a differentiating factor amongst online and multi-channel retailers. Through the use of customer reviews, companies can create a real dialog with customers and defer any intense criticism with a conversation before it becomes an issue on a third-party consumer review site.
