American Defense Systems, Inc. Secures $1.2 Million Order from TACOM
HICKSVILLE, N.Y.-(Business Wire)-October 2, 2008 - American Defense Systems, Inc. “ADSI†(AMEX: EAG), offering advanced transparent as well as opaque armor, architectural hardening and security products for the defense and homeland defense markets, announced today that the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) has issued an order for a variety of spare parts for Crew Protection Kits (CPK) on engineering vehicles currently deployed overseas. Additionally, TACOM has ordered four complete CPKs, adding on to an already existing multi-vehicle contract. The total value of these orders is approximately $1.2 million and is expected to be realized in fiscal year 2008.
