Genta Announces Webcast of 2008 Annual Shareholders Meeting

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J.-(Business Wire)-October 2, 2008 - Genta Incorporated (OTCBB: GNTA) announced that the Company will host a conference call and live audio webcast of its 2008 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The meeting will be held on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., EDT at the Company’s headquarters located at 200 Connell Drive, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922. The presentation will include an overview of the Company's key programs and strategies by senior management.
