River Rock Entertainment Authority Announces Termination of Tender Offer for up to $30 Million Aggregate Principal Amount of Its Outstanding 9-3/4% Senior Notes Due 2011

GEYSERVILLE, Calif.-(Business Wire)-October 1, 2008 - River Rock Entertainment Authority (the "Authority"), a governmental instrumentality of the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians, a federally recognized Indian tribe (the "Tribe"), today announced that its cash tender offer to purchase (the "Offer to Purchase") up to $30 million principal amount of its outstanding 9-¾% Senior Notes due 2011 (the "Notes") will terminate today at 8:00 p.m, New York City time. None of the $172.1 million in principal amount of tendered Notes will be purchased by the Authority. All tendered Notes will be returned promptly to tendering holders.

The Offer to Purchase was part of several transactions designed to provide funds for all or a portion of certain capital improvements projects on the Tribe's trust and adjacent lands that serve essential governmental purposes, and was conditional upon the completion of a financing necessary to provide funds to pay for tendered Notes. As current disruptions in the credit markets do not permit completion of this financing at this time, the Authority has decided to terminate the Offer to Purchase and to postpone the other transactions until market conditions improve.

Questions regarding the Offer to Purchase may be directed to Merrill Lynch & Co at (888) 654-8637. Beneficial owners may also contact their brokers, dealers, commercial banks, trust companies or other nominees through which they hold the Notes with questions and requests for assistance.
