Advanced ID Anticipates 400% Increase in 4th Quarter Revenue with Acquisition of Shenzhen DDCT Technology Co.
CALGARY, Alberta-(Business Wire)-October 1, 2008 - Advanced ID Corporation (OTCBB: AIDO), a leading developer of radio frequency identification (“RFIDâ€) technology for livestock tracking, pet recovery and supply chain applications focusing on the tire management industry, is pleased to announce details for Shenzhen DDCT Technology Co., Ltd (DDCT) in China. As previously announced, DDCT has developed RFID readers and modules that are capturing major tenders and orders in their respective RFID sectors. Several contracts have been negotiated and this revenue is projected to increase Advanced ID’s 4th quarter to record levels.
Dan Finch, President and CEO, said, “We are more than pleased with DDCT as our new acquisition. Working with Cherry Lim, our country manager and Mr. Siyou Su, Chairman of DDCT, we have received confirmation of projects that will start before the end of 2008. We have funded the infrastructure for our new location in Shenzhen and are completing production and manufacturing on those projects as we speak.†Mr. Su commented in an earlier press release on his projections for 2009 of US$12 Million and is very confident that this will be not only achieved but surpassed for the China market alone.â€
Mr. Siyou Su added, “In China, our goal is to make AID/DDCT the predominant supplier for the RFID industry. Just for the balance of 2008, we are completing $350,000 for the coalmines project, $350,000 for a storage management company, $100,000 for a workforce management project and several other orders totaling a projected US$1.5 Million. Some of the projects will continue into 2009 with several new projects that we are working with in the logistics area. We will detail these projects as the orders are signed and accepted. With the addition of AID tags, we now have a complete solution for our existing customers and the new clients that have been approaching us in the last 2 years. China is very focused on RFID and system identification. I just returned from an exhibition in Shanghai where we were able to show the complete line of our products for the first time to an audience of companies throughout China. With AID’s tire tags and livestock tags, the areas of marketing have been increased dramatically. 2009 will be an amazing year for us.â€
Mr. Su added, “We will be hosting the first major press conference of our joint company on October 18 in Shenzhen. Mr. Seymour Kazimirski, Chairman of Advanced ID Corporation and Mr. Hubert Meier, Director of Advanced ID will attend with many government officials, members of the press and many VIP’s. We are also pleased that Advanced ID has decided to hold its annual Board meeting and Sales/Marketing Meeting in Shenzhen in November. It reflects the company’s commitment and dedication to develop the emerging RFID market in China.â€
