Tommy Hilfiger U.S. Sportswear and Hilfiger Fragrance Now Exclusively at Macy's

NEW YORK-(Business Wire)-September 8, 2008 - Less than a year after the announcement of an exclusive strategic alliance, Tommy Hilfiger rolls out a revved up new collection of women’s and men’s U.S. sportswear now available only at Macy’s (NYSE:M). Additionally, the launch of the new Hilfiger men’s fragrance this September will be exclusive to Macy’s until December.

To mark the milestone and the official launch of Hilfiger fragrance, Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Dunn (the model in the fragrance advertisements) – along with 18 other motorcyclists will stop traffic with a motorcade through Manhattan’s busy streets before arriving at Macy’s Herald Square store at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9. At Macy’s, Hilfiger and platinum selling singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw will sign autographs, followed by an after-hours performance by DeGraw in the Manhattan flagship store, for all customers that make $50 purchase of Tommy Hilfiger merchandise at Macy’s Herald Square beginning Sunday, September 7.

Additionally, as part of the exclusive launch and in conjunction with Macy’s 150th birthday celebration, Tommy Hilfiger will be recognized in Macy’s stores from September 7 to 14 with special signage, store windows and marketing programs. Tommy Hilfiger will also appear in Macy’s fall celebrity designer TV campaign and will host fashions shows at select Macy’s stores throughout the fall season.

The fall collection is a representation of iconic Tommy Hilfiger design, updated with shapes and patterns that reflect the new season. Key styles include collegiate blazers, pea coats (tartan and solid), vests, sweater jackets and dresses for her and argyle sweater vests, zip cardigans, V cardigans, classically designed shirts and Freedom Jeans for him.
