New Partnerships for Advanced Biofuels, Biobased Products to Be Showcased at BIO's Pacific Rim Summit
WASHINGTON-(Business Wire)-September 5, 2008 - More than 400 business leaders and public officials will gather at the Pacific Rim Summit on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy, Sept. 10-12 in Vancouver, British Columbia to showcase new business models and public policies for commercializing advanced biofuel technology.
A plenary session titled “Global Energy, Forestry and Chemical Industry Partnerships: A New Business Model for Advanced Biofuels?†on Friday Sept. 12 at 12:30 p.m. PDT will feature leaders from U.S. and Canadian companies working to bring advanced biofuels to market:
- Mike Burnside, president and CEO, Catchlight Energy LLC, a Chevron-Weyerhaeuser Joint Venture;
