Proskauer Expands Paris Office
PARIS-(Business Wire)-September 5, 2008 - Proskauer Rose LLP, an international law firm with more than 750 lawyers worldwide, announced that Grégoire Goussu, a leading intellectual property lawyer and litigator, and Mireille Dany, who specializes in competition, antitrust and distribution law, have joined the firm as partners in the Paris office.
Mr. Goussu has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group and Ms. Dany has joined its Antitrust and Trade Regulation Practice.

Mr. Goussu and Ms. Dany are the latest additions to the firm’s growing Paris office, which recently announced the addition of Jean L'Homme, an experienced banking and finance lawyer, to its corporate practice and welcomed one of Europe's most prominent groups of private equity lawyers, led by Daniel Schmidt and Olivier Dumas.
Mr. Goussu has advised scores of high-profile clients on issues related to trademarks, patents, designs and models, and copyrights as well as information and communication technology law, privacy issues and regulation. Prior to joining Proskauer, he was a partner at Gide Loyrette Nouel in the firm’s Intellectual Property, Technology & Electronic Communications Group. He received his Master of Law from the University of Paris II and is also a graduate of the Centre d’Etudes Internationales de la Propiété Industrielle of Strasbourg University, HEC Paris and Institut d’Etudes Politiques Paris.
Ms. Dany brings vast knowledge and experience dealing with competition, antitrust and distribution law. Her practice focuses on representing clients in a range of industries, including manufacturing, pharmaceutical and chemical, in matters such as: distribution of goods and services; antitrust litigation and arbitration; mergers and acquisitions; hearings before European Competition Authorities; and consumer law. She was previously a partner in the Paris office of Baker & McKenzie and received her Master’s degree in French/European Antitrust and Distribution Law at the University School of Law Montpellier, France.
