- Casino and card room gaming accounted for almost 48% of total North American gaming revenue, lotteries for 24%, and tribal gaming for 22%.
- The largest inflation-adjusted growth, an increase of 7.31%, was seen in tribal gaming.
- Revenue from lotteries grew by 4.91% and casino and card room gaming by 5.56%.
- Both charitable gaming and race/sports wagering experienced declines in 2006, but they were smaller than the 2005 rates.
