Academic Leaders Join Advisory Board of Assay Depot, the World's First Drug Discovery Outsourcing Marketplace

Advisory Board Members:
Randall W. King MD, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining the faculty at Harvard Medical School, Dr. King was a fellow at the Institute of Chemistry and Cell Biology at Harvard. He co-founded the drug discovery companies Kalypsys, Inc. in 2001 and Makoto Life Sciences, Inc. in 2006.
Julie A. Theriot, PhD is an Associate Professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine, with appointments in the Department of Biochemistry and the Department of Microbiology & Immunology. She was named as an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 2008. Prior to joining the faculty at Stanford, Dr. Theriot was a Whitehead Fellow at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. She has won numerous awards for both research and teaching, including a MacArthur Foundation Fellowship in 2004.
Bruce R. Conklin, MD is a Senior Investigator at the Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease and a Professor at the University of California, San Francisco, with appointments in the Departments of Medicine and Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology and the Division of Medical Genetics. He consults for several leading biotechnology companies, and he is the founder of the widely used public resources, BayGenomics, GenMAPP and WikiPathways.
P. Renee Yew, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in the Institute of Biotechnology, where she studies cell cycle dynamics. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Texas, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Cell Biology at Harvard Medical School.
Nathanael Gray, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology at the Dana Farber Cancer Research Institute with a joint appointment in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining the faculty at Harvard Medical School, he was the Director of Biological Chemistry at the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation (GNF).
