BAL BROADCAST LTD to Exhibit at IBC, September 12th - 16th 2008 at Stand Number 8.A86
NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME, England-(Business Wire)-August 29, 2008 - BAL specialises in first class engineering, designing and manufacturing cost-effective equipment for the professional broadcast market, with 35 years experience and an extensive international distribution network. It is also the European distributors for Video Equipment manufactured by Allen Avionics Inc., USA.
Products include Interfacing, Distribution of signals, Toolkit accessories, Hum Eliminators and Multiviewers, of which the portable wireless Floorman Multiviewer which allows direction from studio floor is the latest addition.
Research and development applied to both design and manufacture is a key factor in the Sales and Marketing strategy in order to promote the full technical service of the company ensuring seamless customer support and the expansion of new products in the visual communications market.
BAL exhibits its products at the major Broadcast Exhibitions at NAB in Las Vegas, IBC in Amsterdam and Broadcast Production Show in London.
BAL Broadcast was founded as Barnett And Longmore Ltd in 1973 to design and manufacture Video Filters and Delay Lines for the Television Broadcast Industry.
The company has been through a number of management and ownership changes and its product range has diversified to be mainly in the design and manufacturing professional video equipment.
In May 1997 BAL Broadcast was acquired by Faraday Technology Ltd. of Newcastle-under-Lyme in the UK who are World leaders in the design and manufacture of video filters and delay lines for the professional broadcast industry. Faraday Technology Ltd is a privately owned company and BAL Broadcast operates as a division of Faraday Technology Ltd from its own premises in Newcastle.
