SARS Corp and Securewest International Announce Turkish Maritime Registry Approval for LRIT Conformance Testing
SEATTLE-(Business Wire)-August 28, 2008 - SARS Corp. (OTCBB:SARO) (“SARSâ€), a provider of technologies dedicated to the satellite-based management of fixed and mobile assets, and its marketing partner Securewest International a leader in Maritime Security and emergency response, announced today that the Undersecretariate for Maritime Affairs has approved SARS/Securewest Internationals LRIT Conformance Testing Services for all ships registered in Turkey.
“We are pleased to have been approved to do the testing of Turkey’s 500+ registered ships to ensure those ships meet the International Maritime Organization Long Range Identification Tracking (LRIT) deadline of December 31, 2008,†said Stuart Flynn, VP of Business Development Securewest International.
