Plastic Jungle Announces Board of Directors

CLOVIS, Calif.-(Business Wire)-August 26, 2008 - Plastic Jungle, the most visited Web site for gift card exchanges and services, today announced Gary Briggs, Tina Henson, Lou Ryan, Charlie Smith and Will Stewart as founding members of its Board of Directors. Ryan will serve as Chairman of the Board. Collectively, the group brings a wide array of experience in marketing, technology, M&A and investing to Plastic Jungle.

Gary Briggs – eBay, IBM and Pepsi-Cola

Briggs most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for eBay North America, where he also held several executive positions including vice president and country manager, eBay Canada (www.ebay.ca) and vice president, consumer marketing at eBay.com. During his tenure at eBay, Briggs led the brand, advertising, consumer research, promotion and entertainment marketing efforts for the company, where he earned Brandweek's "Marketer of the Year" award in 2003, and was also on the "Best of 2003" lists of USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and Advertising Age.

Before joining eBay, Briggs was one of the founders and Chief Marketing Officer of OurHouse.com. Before this venture, he was Director of Worldwide Brand Strategy for IBM Corporation, where he was responsible for the company's brand positioning and cross-corporate marketing integration and co-authored the marketing strategy for the company's "e-business" campaign. Gary also worked for six years at Pepsi-Cola, most recently as Marketing Director for Brand Pepsi.

Lou Ryan - Borland Corporation, Delrina Corporation, Entercept Technologies and Foundstone Technologies

Lou Ryan is a renowned entrepreneur and business leader with more than 25 years experience with technology companies including Borland Corporation, Delrina Corporation, Entercept Technologies and Foundstone Technologies. Ryan was president, CEO and founder of Entercept Security Technology, acquired by McAfee in 2003. Ryan also played an instrumental role in negotiating McAfee's acquisition of Foundstone, where he was an early investor and board member.

Previously, Ryan served as executive vice president of worldwide sales for Delrina, a leading software supplier with over $100 million in annual sales, acquired by Symantec in 1995. Ryan also sits on the boards of Certicom Corporation and Isothermal Systems Research, Inc., and is an advisor to SandHill Capital, SandHill Security and DiamondHead Ventures.

Charles Smith – Brocade, IBM and NEC

Charles Smith’s 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry span the areas of storage, software, and SAN sales; sales management; and executive management. Currently the principal of CWSmith Ventures an early-stage angel investment firm and an advisor to emerging companies, Smith was the founding vice president of worldwide sales at Brocade Communications. Prior to Brocade, he held senior executive positions in the IBM Storage Systems Division and at Conner Peripherals, Parallel Technology and NEC.

Smith was formerly Chairman of the board at Persist Technologies, acquired in 2005 by Hewlett Packard, and also on the board of SiliconStor, acquired in 2007 by LSI Logic. He currently serves on the board of directors of GoWare, Inc. and Construction Navigator Software. Charles also serves on the board of directors for the non-profit Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center.

Will Stewart - Sand Hill Capital and Asia Pacific Ventures

Stewart is Chairman and CEO of Sand Hill Capital (www.sandhillcapital.com) He is currently a Director on the Boards of SoonR, JiWire, Jelly Cloud, Authentium, Goware, Veeple, Globstream (Beijing, China) and former Director of Lexar Media (acquired by Micron), SiliconStor (acquired by LSI), Okena (acquired by Cisco), Certicom, and SecureTax (acquired by Intuit).
