The CW and imeem Launch "90210" Theme Song Contest

LOS ANGELES & SAN FRANCISCO-(Business Wire)-August 26, 2008 - The CW Network and imeem, the leading social media network with over 27 million unique monthly visitors, are proud to announce an exciting new contest in which artists and fans can create their own cover version of the original theme song from the hit television series “Beverly Hills, 90210” at http://www.imeem.com/90210.

The winner, who will be determined by a combination of popular vote and a judging panel, will have the chance for their version of the song to be featured on the highly anticipated new television series “90210,” premiering Tuesday, September 2, 2008 8:00p.m. ET on The CW Network.

Starting today through September 3, artists can enter the contest by submitting their original work at http://www.imeem.com/90210. A panel of judges will choose 10 finalists based on originality, creativity and fit with the new “90210.” From September 9, 2008 through September 17, 2008, the public will be invited to listen to the top 10 finalists’ entries online and cast their votes at http://www.imeem.com/90210.

2. Listen to the original 90210 theme song and access the sheet music

3. Create your own version of the Beverly Hills, 90210 theme song

4. Send your version of the theme song to imeem90210contest@gmail.com

5. From the 10 finalists selected, friends, family, fans and complete strangers will vote for the best track

6. The winning version of the song will earn the chance to be featured on The CW’s new series 90210.
