IGI Laboratories, Inc. to Manufacture Commercial Prescription Products

BUENA, N.J.-(Business Wire)-August 13, 2008 - IGI LABORATORIES, INC. (AMEX:IG) a premier global provider of skin treatment products will begin manufacturing and packaging commercial prescription products for another new pharmaceutical customer. The two prescription products are indicated for the management of symptoms associated with several dermal conditions.

IGI is developing the production process for these products and is expecting to manufacture the first commercial batch in early fourth quarter this year.
