Indie911 Strikes Pioneering Artist Marketing and Discovery Deal with "Highnote"
LOS ANGELES-(Business Wire)-August 13, 2008 - Leading artist services network Indie911 announced a new partnership with Highnote to provide artists and record labels with a pioneering streaming music discovery and promotion service. Highnote powers the targeted delivery of artist inventory into music streams across the web, and the partnership will leverage Indie911's content and artist services platform to deliver a new paradigm in music discovery.
For users, the partnership provides a new way of finding great content already available on Indie911's Hoooka.com music discovery network - by simply listening. Highnote's "wisdom of the crowds" based streaming platform aggregates music content and then plays the songs that users respond to most.
Additionally, Indie911 artists can now use the Highnote Inserts promotion platform to have their music played directly adjacent to popular, similar artists anywhere users are listening.
