Bob Finkelstein Joins Retail Consulting Practice at RPE
TAMPA, Fla.-(Business Wire)-August 12, 2008 - Retail and consulting industry veteran Bob Finkelstein has joined Retail Process Engineering (RPE) as vice president and practice lead for planning, allocation, replenishment and space planning. RPE is an industry leader providing retail consulting services, business process improvement, package selection, strategic IT planning and systems implementation to retailers worldwide.

Finkelstein will lead the RPE retail consulting team focused on optimizing processes supporting the planning, allocation, replenishment and space planning practices. He will work with clients balancing growth opportunities and competitive pressures and constraints in order to maximize sales and margin to get the right inventory, in the right quantity, at the right price, to the right location, at the right time.
He most recently served as vice president merchandise planning and allocation at Party City. As an industry veteran, he has held key positions with leading retailers such as Ann Taylor, The Children's Place, Payless Shoes and The GAP. His responsibilities included merchandise planning and allocation, gross margin and inventory management, supply chain, production planning and information systems.
With an extensive understanding of retail, RPE mobilizes the right people, expertise and technologies to improve overall business performance.
