Neways Products Help Strengthen Israel's Paralympic Team
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-(Business Wire)-August 7, 2008 - Neways International's Israel division is the major nutritional sponsor of Israel's Paralympic team, which will leave for Beijing at the end of August. Israel's delegation includes 44 athletes and 15 coaches in the sports of swimming, shooting, table tennis, rowing, tennis, archery, basketball, equestrian, sailing, athletics and cycling.
"We work very closely with the Paralympic team's dietician, and she recommends the products they need to use," says Maxine Marks, Assistant Managing Director of Neways Israel. "The athletes' favorite Neways products include Maximol Solutions(R), Maximum Force(R), Cal-sea-um(TM) and VMM(R)."
During the past year, the Paralympians have traveled to competitions all over the world. "Many of them state that the Neways products have really helped," says Marks. At a farewell ceremony for the Paralympic team, Israeli President Shimon Peres said, "You are Israel's Olympic Gold—nobody has brought as much honor as you. The Olympics may be a physical competition, but it is also a competition of the spirit, of effort and of individuals at their best."
