"The graceful design of Infiniti vehicles blends perfectly with the art of lavish fashion and home design," says Hearst Magazines Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and Publishing Director, Michael Clinton. "Bringing Infiniti and Hearst's luxury titles together for The Infiniti House of Inspiration provides the ultimate experience of extravagance."

The Apartment, a New York City based design agency that offers fully integrated branding and marketing, architecture and interior design, will create The Infiniti House of Inspiration, a place where a harmonious lifestyle is awakened and put on display to show, not tell, that details matter and that content is everything. The Apartment has collaborated with dozens of entrepreneurial groups, corporations and individuals to create and evolve brands, products, marketing programs and physical spaces locally and abroad.

The centerpiece of the exhibit will be devoted to Infiniti, with two vehicles—the all-new 2009 Infiniti FX luxury performance crossover and the 2009 Infiniti G sports sedan—displayed in the "driveway" of The Infiniti House of Inspiration. Signage will explain the design concepts behind Infiniti luxury performance automobiles and will draw connections to and place Infiniti within the context of the great designs from the other disciplines surrounding the vehicles.

"The partnership with Hearst for The Infiniti House of Inspiration is a natural brand connection to showcase Infiniti's luxurious vision of modern living," says Ben Poore, vice president of Infiniti marketing. "We're excited to feature the all-new 2009 Infiniti FX and 2009 Infiniti G37 sedan alongside the latest design trends in fashion, home decor and fragrance."

The Infiniti House of Inspiration will open on the evening of Wednesday, August 13, along with the Concours d'Elegance, with an elegant reception for approximately 350 guests, hosted by Hearst and Infiniti. The Infiniti House of Inspiration will remain open to the public until Sunday, August 17.

As part of Infiniti's ongoing commitment to philanthropy, $100 raffle tickets to win the 2009 Infiniti G sports sedan will be sold on site, with proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Monterey. Attendees of The Infiniti House of Inspiration who test-drive a vehicle on Friday or Saturday of the weekend event will receive one free raffle ticket.

Media communications agency OMD coordinated the sponsorship; TBWA handled the creative.
