Made in America: Sound Surgical Technologies Brings Disposable Product Manufacturing Back to the USA
LOUISVILLE, Colo.-(Business Wire)-July 3, 2008 - Sound Surgical Technologies LLC, developer of the VASER(R) Lipo System, announced that as of today all disposable products will be designed and manufactured in the United States. Sound Surgical Technologies has partnered with two Colorado-based companies, IPAX and Front Range Tooling, to produce the new VASER System tubing and canister products.
Established in 1983, IPAX Inc. is a FDA registered and ISO certified manufacturing and packaging firm that specializes in the design and assembly of a variety of medical components. IPAX has designed and produced new infusion and suction tubing to complement the VASER Lipo System. Front Range Tooling, Inc., established in 1982, is a world class quality mold making company that has created the new precision canister mold and now produces canisters for Sound Surgical.
