Eaton Vance Enhanced Equity Income Fund and Eaton Vance Enhanced Equity Income Fund II Announce Portfolio Management Team Change
BOSTON-(Business Wire)-July 3, 2008 - Eaton Vance announced today that Michael A. Allison, CFA, will join the portfolio management team of two Eaton Vance-sponsored closed-end funds, Eaton Vance Enhanced Equity Income Fund (NYSE: EOI) and Eaton Vance Enhanced Equity Income Fund II (NYSE: EOS) (the "Funds"), replacing Lewis R. Piantedosi. Mr. Allison joins Walter A. Row as co-manager of each of the Funds. Mr. Allison and Mr. Row also serve as co-managers on two open-end and three other closed-end Eaton Vance funds. Mr. Piantadosi will continue to serve as a portfolio manager for other Eaton Vance funds.
Mr. Allison is a Vice President of Eaton Vance Management, having joined Eaton Vance in 2000. Mr. Allison previously worked as an equity research analyst for Fleet Investment Advisors and as an equity analyst for Schroders Investment Management, North America. He holds a B.S.B.A. from the University of Denver. Mr. Allison has over 20 years of investment experience, is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute.
The Funds are managed by Eaton Vance Management, a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol EV. Through its subsidiaries, Eaton Vance Corp. manages funds and separate accounts for individuals and institutional clients. Eaton Vance and its affiliates had approximately $159.1 billion in assets under management as of April 30, 2008.
