Semtech's Sensor Interface Device Wins EE Times Ultimate Product Award
CAMARILLO, Calif.-(Business Wire)-July 3, 2008 - Semtech Corp. (Nasdaq: SMTC), a leading supplier of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, today announced that its SX8724 sensor interface device was selected as the top product in Logic/Programmable Logic & Interface design by Electronic Engineering Times and eeProductCenter.com during the fourth quarter of 2007.
To select the Ultimate Products, the editors selected up to 10 of the most popular products posted on www.eeProductCenter.com. Qualified readers from EE Times and eeProductCenter.com selected the best-of-the-best top products in seven categories using their Ultimate Products survey. Then, using an electronic balloting process, the products with their accompanying editorial reviews were sent to 1000 qualified readers. These readers scored the product by technical significance and usability scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the highest score.
