Apprise Media Names Brent Diamond President and CEO of Its Action Pursuit Group Unit
LOS ANGELES-(Business Wire)-June 18, 2008 - Apprise Media LLC, a leading investor in niche media and information companies, today announced that it has named Brent Diamond President and CEO of its Action Pursuit Group LLC (APG) unit. Diamond, 51, has more than 25 years of enthusiast media experience, including the successful launch of a wide range of consumer-focused print and digital products. He succeeds Craig Nickerson, who is retiring.
In his new position, Mr. Diamond will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives for APG's 15 magazines in the automotive, action sports, and shelter categories, 21 automotive enthusiast events and 12 related web sites.

Mr. Diamond is the former CEO of Sports Information Group, a multi-media information company providing premium data-driven content to the sports industry, whose products include Daily Racing Form and drf.com. Earlier in his career, Mr. Diamond was President of The Lifestyles Group of PRIMEDIA Magazines, where he worked closely with Mr. McCurdy, the former president of PRIMEDIA, Inc. The Lifestyles Group encompassed more than 35 consumer magazines, 50 specials, 24 websites and a variety of live events.
