Sogeti USA to Host Event to Help Chicago Companies Better Leverage SOA
DAYTON, Ohio-(Business Wire)-June 18, 2008 - Sogeti, a premier provider of information technology services, member of the Capgemini Group, today announced its plans to host a Chicago event to help companies successfully implement Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in their business.
Sogeti will be hosting an evening event for organizations in the Chicago area on June 25th from 5 pm till 10 pm at Ditka's Restaurant in the Two Mid America Plaza, Oak Brook, Illinois. The event, SOA for Profit—Addressing the Reality of SOA, will provide a unique opportunity for C-level executives, senior architects and enterprise architects to gain insight and best practices on how to leverage SOA in their business.
The event will provide practical guidance on topics such as how to gain buy-in internally for SOA, successfully starting and managing SOA initiatives and ensuring your technical architecture is effectively aligned with your organization's business objectives.
The event will feature two keynote speakers who are industry leading experts in SOA: Leigh McMullen, Vice President and Practice Manager for Sogeti's Business & Enterprise Technology Consultancy Practice and Erik van Ommeren, the US Director of Sogeti's International Research Group, VINT, and co-author of SOA for Profit, A Manager's Guide to Success with Service Oriented Architecture.
