Qua Baths & Spa Debuts at Caesars Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.-(Business Wire)-June 18, 2008 - Introducing Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Atlantic City, a new spa offering guests an alluring and artful oasis guided by the healing and calming powers of water. Modeled after the renowned Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the stylish new spa features an immersive atmosphere including lavish Roman Baths; an exceptional array of skin treatments and therapeutic massages, including the $5,000 Dieci Mani signature treatment featuring the healing touch of 10 hands at once; and a superbly outfitted Fitness Center. A new seasonal outdoor rooftop pool is also located adjacent to the spa, offering a splendid spot for soaking up warmth and sunshine.

The new 16,000 square foot spa features 14 treatment rooms, including a Couples Studio, two wet rooms providing Vichy hydrotherapy, eight dry treatment rooms and three facial/multi-purpose rooms. Three Roman Baths in both the men's and women's areas draw guests in for soothing soaks, while a Cedar Wood Sauna and Herbal Steam Room, draped with a misty infusion of fresh aromatic herbs, also provide an oasis of relaxation. The Fitness Center features cardiovascular equipment outfitted with cardio theater and plasma screens, as well as a strength area with a multi-functional workout station and free weights.

Italian for "here," Qua connotes the myriad and inspirational benefits of "living in the moment," while evoking "aqua," or water, the focus of its Roman Bathing experience and many of its therapeutic services.

Signature treatments include the following and are delivered by Artisans who are true talents at their craft:

— Dieci Mani: Meaning "ten hands," this treatment features four Artisans and one esthetician providing the treatment's healing touch. An indulgent Roman Bath ritual is followed by the cascading waterfalls of Vichy showers, a facial and a massage.

— Sleep Health: This treatment begins with a 75-minute aromatherapy massage, using an essential oil blend created to assist with relaxation, followed by a session with Qua's certified hypnotist designed to gain more control of your ability to sleep.

— Crystal Body Art: After a silky sea sponge cleansing, a signature Qua sugar scrub and a light lotion application, Crystal Artists will provide a personalized consultation on the location and style of the art and will adhere Swarovski crystals to the body to make it sparkle.

Designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates of Santa Monica, CA, Qua Baths & Spa features an elemental and natural feel throughout, with earthy bronzes, medium-toned wood, soft split-faced stacked stone, chiseled "limestone" tile and muted teal accents. Rippling, textured carpeting and stainless steel light fixtures blended with back-lit panels of grasses embedded into resin further express the earthy sensuality of the space. Original artwork offers the cool accent of paintings that merge abstract imagery of nature and water to communicate a focus on nurturing and healing. This natural style continues throughout the spa.

Qua's Tea Program features a Tea Sommelier pairing beverages, both hot and cold, with spa treatments to ensure palates will be pampered. Tea Lounges serve as relaxation areas in both the men's and women's areas and a Signature Qua tea blend delights the senses.
