ACE*COMM to Deliver Telecommunications Management Solution to United States Army
GAITHERSBURG, Md.-(Business Wire)-June 18, 2008 - ACE*COMM Corporation (OTCBB:ACEC), a global provider of enterprise operations support and telecommunications management systems, today announced it has signed a contract to provide its NetPlus(R) product to one of the largest United States Army bases in the U.S.
This Army base, which is expanding to become the premier medical training base for the Department of Defense (DoD), is one of the select sites being upgraded as part of the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) initiative. Through BRAC, the DoD is realigning and reconfiguring its infrastructure to take advantage of the efficiencies created by base consolidations and joint activities.
Using ACE*COMM's NetPlus(R) solution, the Army will automate the base's order management, provisioning and billing operations. Currently, NetPlus(R) is installed in more than 115 Army bases and is being implemented in over 100 U.S. Air Force bases worldwide.
