Cycle Country Addresses Investor Questions on the Iowa Flood and Its Aftermath
SPENCER, Iowa-(Business Wire)-June 18, 2008 - Cycle Country Accessories Corp. (AMEX: ATC), the recognized leader in development, sales, marketing, and manufacturing of a variety of products for all terrain vehicles (ATV), garden tractors, and golf cars, wishes to address a variety of investor concerns regarding the recent flooding that has damaged so much of Iowa.
First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers extend to those who lives have been disrupted over the past week where 83 of Iowa's 99 counties have been declared Federal disaster areas.
Cycle Country is located in the Northwest part of Iowa and has not suffered any kind of the devastation that we have all witnessed on our televisions and therefore has had no damage to any of its facilities nor have there been any disruptions in its operations due to the flooding.
Nearly all of Cycle Country's preseason orders and contracts are 'non-cancelable;' therefore, there will be no decline in revenue or earnings due to orders or contracts being voided.
At this time the management does not have any indications on whether this unfortunate situation will be, as months and quarters go by, a net plus or a net minus for its product sales, which, while defined as consumer discretionary, may be a necessity to help many of the residents of the affected areas rebuild.
