Montana Tunnels Update

DENVER-(Business Wire)-May 20, 2008 - Apollo Gold Corporation ("Apollo") (TSX: APG) (AMEX: AGT) announced today that following the shutdown of the mill at Montana Tunnels on April 27, 2008, which was announced in the press release dated April 28, 2008, and updated on May 2, 2008 the ball mill repair was completed ahead of the announced schedule and the mill recommenced production on May 17, 2008.
