NWA Cargo Announces Increases in Fuel Surcharges
EAGAN, Minn.-(Business Wire)-May 6, 2008 - As a result of the continuing rapid increase in the price of jet fuel, NWA Cargo will raise its fuel surcharge in certain markets effective May 15, 2008, subject to government approvals where required.
International fuel surcharges will be increased from $1.05 to $1.10 per kilogram.
Additionally, westbound trans-Pacific shipments from the U.S. to Shanghai (PVG), Guangzhou (CAN), and points beyond will now be subject to a $0.30 per kilogram fuel surcharge above current all-in base rates.
