California Milk Advisory Board Appoints Jim Dimataris Director of Processor Relations
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. & MODESTO, Calif.-(Business Wire)-May 6, 2008 - The California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB) announced today the recent hire of Jim Dimataris as Director of Processor Relations.
Dimataris is responsible for developing working relationships with California dairy processors. He also plays a pivotal role in CMAB marketing, education and communications programs.

Dimataris has more than 25 years of experience in the grocery industry, working with United Grocers, Fleming Companies, Bel Air Markets and Super Store Industries. He has developed more than 1,400 private brand products, including dairy products, and has been highly involved in package design and distribution.
Prior to joining the CMAB, Dimataris was the Director of Business Development for Super Store Industries, where he was responsible for brand development and management. In this capacity, Dimataris worked closely with dairy processing facilities to develop a broad range of products, including fluid milk, cultured products and ice cream. Additionally, he did extensive development work on all-natural dairy beverage items, organic cottage cheese, sour cream and yogurt products.
California is the nation's leading milk producer. It also produces more butter, ice cream, yogurt and nonfat dry milk than any other state. Dairy products made with California milk can be identified by the Real California Milk seal, which certifies that the products are made exclusively with milk produced on California dairy farms. The state is the second-largest producer of cheese, which is available nationally under the Real California Cheese seal.
