Sepracor Announces Passing of Board Member James G. Andress
MARLBOROUGH, Mass.-(Business Wire)-March 14, 2008 - Sepracor Inc. (Nasdaq: SEPR) announced today that James G. Andress, a member of its Board of Directors, has passed away.
"We are extremely saddened by James' passing," said Adrian Adams, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sepracor. "James served on Sepracor's Board since 1991 and offered tremendous support, guidance and leadership. He will be greatly missed by our organization. Mr. Andress' business experience and acumen made him a sought-after and respected advisor. He served on many boards including AOL, Genetics Institute, Liposome, OptionCare; and most recently Sepracor, Allstate, Dade-Behring, Xoma, and Warner Chilcott. He also served on Northwestern University's Kellogg advisory committee and the board of Lake Forest College.
