Genuine Sun CD Release Party March 19th 2008 House of Blues
CLEVELAND-(Business Wire)-March 13, 2008 - Cleveland's own favorite son, Genuine Sun, (www.GenuineSunMusic.com) will be live on-stage performing a sneak preview of their new album "Return", Wednesday night March 19.
This is a private party event sponsored by Blaster Records. VIP tickets have been given to loyal listeners of WQAL, Cleveland and WHBC, Canton as well as to local luminaries.
Lead singer Dave Ritz wrote the music and lyrics for all 12 songs on the CD including the radio hit "Goodbye." The CD Release Party culminates an incredible year for the Band. Genuine Sun includes Cleveland area natives Adam Marra, guitar; Joe Gerbasi, drums; Tim Kollar, bass guitar; and Ritz who performs lead vocals and plays acoustic guitar and piano.
The Genuine Sun whirlwind went into high gear in September 2007 when they were signed by Blaster Records Chairman, Tom Porter. Porter secured Universal Music Group Distribution through Fuel Records to distribute the new CD worldwide. The all-original songs were recorded at the prestigious Luminous Studios in Dallas with renowned music producer Bob Parr.
