National Envelope, Mayer Kuvert, Tompla and Imura Announce Global Alliance

UNIONDALE, N.Y.-(Business Wire)-February 15, 2008 - National Envelope, headquartered in Uniondale, New York; Mayer-Kuvert-network GmbH headquartered in Heilbronn, Germany; Group Tompla headquartered in Madrid, Spain; and Imura Envelope, based in Osaka, Japan, have entered into an international strategic alliance.

The Global Services Group (GSG) has been formed to address the increasing demand from multi-national corporations for single-source procurement of envelopes and associated products with delivery destinations worldwide. Through the alliance, member companies will work together on an exclusive basis to supply envelopes through their worldwide network of over 65 manufacturing facilities to international clientele requiring a single global envelope source, simplifying what is now a very complicated and cumbersome process. As globalization of the world's largest corporations and companies continues, the alliance will be in a unique position to provide strategic sourcing and practical solutions for companies with international mailing and delivery requirements.

An additional focus of the Global Services Group will be a cooperative marketing effort to share proprietary products and services, unique to each company, among the members of the GSG. This will greatly enhance the offering and potential markets for the customers of the Global Services Group. To assist alliance members in establishing and maintaining a competitive advantage in today's demanding envelope market, the companies will share and work jointly on product development and research and development projects for the improvement of machine technologies and operational efficiencies.

Through their new alliance within the GSG, National Envelope, Mayer-Kuvert-network, Tompla and Imura Envelope, each a respected supplier in their respective markets, will be able to provide a level of service and opportunity never seen before in the international envelope market. By sharing product information, machine technologies, and operational best practices, each will benefit individually, and will be able to take their service and product offerings to new levels for the benefit their customers and unique markets.
