Oscar De La Hoya Headlines Groundbreaking in South Gate for First Golden Boy Partners Community

SOUTH GATE, Calif.-(Business Wire)-February 13, 2008 - Boxing superstar Oscar De La Hoya will join city and community leaders to celebrate the start of construction on Tierra del Rey, the first urban infill community development for De La Hoya's real estate company Golden Boy Partners and Metro Housing Partners. Located on a former industrial site in South Gate, Tierra del Rey will offer 107 for-sale townhomes targeted toward working families.

Metro Housing Partners, a new housing company formed by Golden Boy Partners, Trimark Partners and CarVal Investors (an affiliate of Cargill, Inc.) to develop and construct urban housing in Southern California, is the developer of the five-acre Tierra del Rey community, which is expected to be completed mid-2009.
