Pet Angel Memorial Center Turning to Mobile BIS Automation to Achieve New Levels of Productivity, Responsiveness to Pet Owners, Vets
INDIANAPOLIS-(Business Wire)-February 13, 2008 - Pet Angel Memorial Center of Indianapolis, one of the nation's fastest growing companies offering pet after care services, is turning to automation to achieve greater productivity and responsiveness to grieving pet owners and their veterinarians.
Coleen Ellis, founder and vice president of marketing, said Pet Angel has implemented a computer software application from Mobile BIS of Los Angeles that will enable it to convert existing manual processes of the Pet Angel experience to automation. The full software application incorporates a point of sale system and a Pet Cremation Solution (PCS), incorporating mobile technology. The automated system will integrate Pet Angel's current pet memorial centers in the Indianapolis suburb of Carmel, Indiana; Wichita, Kansas; and Pinellas Park, Florida, Ellis said. Moreover," she added, "the system will serve as an effective companion to the Pet Angel 'Authenticated Memorial' process. This is a program which ensures the safety and security of pets received and cremated at all of our centers."
Established in 2004 in a Carmel shopping center, Pet Angel Memorial Center was the outgrowth of a belief by Ellis that pets, who are treated as family members by most owners, should receive the same quality after care as do humans. Her belief became the basis of the range of services offered by Pet Angel to its pet owner customers, who, as a result, multiplied at a rapid rate and prompted the opening of the company's two additional centers. Pet Angel plans further significant expansion, Ellis said.
