Terremark Chosen to Host New Massively Multiplayer Online Gaming Platform

MIAMI-(Business Wire)-January 31, 2008 - Terremark Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ:TMRK), a leading provider of managed IT infrastructure services, today announced that it was chosen by Latin Interactive Network (LIN) to host its new Massively Multiplayer Online Gaming (MMOG) platform, the first in Latin America. LIN's platform, which will be accessible on www.axeso5.com, will leverage Terremark's world-class managed hosting services, superior IP connectivity and Ethernet peering services to ensure the successful launch and growth of its platform.

"Our relationship with Terremark is an integral part of our strategy to deliver a unique online gaming experience to our users while providing top-quality service," said Cristian Schweizer, CEO of LIN. "Our multifunctional team, with a strong background in the consumer, entertainment and technology businesses, teamed up to bring Spanish speakers from Latin America into the online experience through videogames that make them part of the largest entertainment community in the region. We look forward to hosting all of our new games with Terremark as we roll them out to the Latin American market."

With massive and diverse connectivity from the more than 160 global carriers located in the NAP of the Americas, Terremark is able to provide the peering and network services that will help LIN's platform reach millions of gamers in the region. With an estimated 90 percent of the Internet traffic between North America and Latin America and the Caribbean flowing through the facility, LIN will be ideally located to reach its core customers.

"The combination of our robust, utility-enabled technology platform and comprehensive suite of IT infrastructure services makes us the ideal choice for companies in the interactive entertainment business," said Manuel D. Medina, Chairman and CEO of Terremark. "We look forward to providing LIN with the world-class service we've become known for."

LIN was born from a group of managers who partnered with Endemol Latin America to explore the untapped online gaming market in Latin America. The company entered into various agreements with game developers and partners who created popular MMOGs like Audition (casual role-playing game) and Prison Tale (the first 3D MMORPG). LIN's business model is based on the free-to-play MMO business model first developed in Asia where gamers are able to enjoy the games free of charge while purchasing items in virtual shops that will enhance their online gaming experience.

Terremark recently launched the Terremark Interactive Entertainment Group, which focuses on providing world-class managed infrastructure solutions for online gaming applications, virtual worlds and social networking sites. LIN's deployment validates the company's unique value proposition to MMOG customers. Visit www.terremark.com for more information about Terremark's interactive entertainment solutions.
