mobilkom austria group to Deploy Ground Breaking Presence-Enabled Mobile Services Powered by Colibria
LONDON & VIENNA, Austria-(Business Wire)-January 31, 2008 - Colibria, the leading new generation provider of mobile instant messaging (MIM) and Presence-enabled solutions, today announced that mobilkom austria group (mag) will deploy its new Application Presence solution. This solution, called Colibria Enrich(TM), comprises a Presence Server and an XDM Server, and will work as an enabling layer within mag's service network upon which innovative communication services and applications, now and in the future, will be built. The group will be able to utilise Colibria's technology across a range of already developed and emerging mobile markets, enabling selected operators within its group to provide new value-added services to retain and grow their subscriber base.
These new, enhanced interactive communication services will enable users to share information such as profile details, status, availability and preferred methods of contact securely and easily. This is one of the world's first commercial next generation presence-based services and will initially be deployed across three countries in Central and Eastern Europe, reaching a total of approximately 11 million subscribers.
Colibria Enrich will be used to Presence-enable existing services such as VOIP, and to provide a key element of added value within new services that will enable mag to drive greater levels of differentiation and increase revenue opportunities.
