National Lampoon Announces Video Release Date for National Lampoon's Jake's Booty Call
LOS ANGELES-(Business Wire)-January 30, 2008 - National Lampoon, Inc. (AMEX:NLN), the most widely recognized brand in comedy, today announced the release date of the animated feature film starring everyone's favorite pimp, Jake, in "National Lampoon presents Jake's Booty Call". Coming to DVD on February 26, 2008, The film tells the story of a super player and chick magnet who has taken on the challenge of helping his newest wingman, Siton Manaba, get lucky before his 21st birthday. The movie, which began as a wildly popular internet game for college students, followed up with a hugely successful college-focused theatrical release, is now one of the most anticipated animated films this year.
Makers of the Jake's Booty Call video game, TheRomp.com, took a hiatus from creating more of Jake's wild adventures to team up with National Lampoon to make what is sure to be the next animated classic. Directors Julian Max Metter and Eric Eisner created the first full-length Macromedia Flash film, where viewers can follow Jake attempting to achieve his number-one goal in life, getting lucky. Finally, the over 5 million fans of the game can join Jake as he makes his way to DVD.

We were amazed with the fan base among the 18 to 24 year old audience and are excited to be getting the film out to the marketplace," said National Lampoon Chief Executive Officer Daniel Laikin. SYNOPSIS
National Lampoon's Jake's Booty Call is a story about a so-called "player" who tries to help a young prince get lucky before his 21st birthday. Jake is the ultimate ladies man - outgoing, smooth, confident and the epitome of a pimp, which is everything his new friend, Siton, is not.
Siton Manaba is a young prince who goes to the United States in hopes of hooking up with a woman for his birthday. Lucky for him he meets Jake who vows to help him on his quest to get some. Traveling in style in Siton's private jet helicopter and yacht, the duo globetrots to Las Vegas, New York, Tokyo, Brazil and Jamaica.
Through their travels, Jake teaches Siton the art of picking up women by going to various clubs and using methods such as "posting up" and "the pimp scope." Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, Siton's twin bother Lickapon Manaba is trying to kill him for the title of King of Bangasloid.
Jake and Siton's quest for booty is the ultimate "frat boys" dream. What man wouldn't want to travel the world in pursuit of hot chicks?
